We are currently recruiting Engineers across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Process disciplines to work as Project Leaders to help support us in delivering work for some of the UK’s largest water and sewerage companies, including Northumbrian Water, Thames Water, Severn Trent, Yorkshire Water and Welsh Water.
We believe the best engineering projects are delivered by engineers, so we combine the traditional Project Manager and Engineer roles into a single, Project Leader role.

- Have the flexibility of working from home, office and site?
- Have the opportunity to see your designs brought to life?
What does a Project Leader do day to day?
- Lead the design of water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects through the outline and detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover
- Coordinate the project team including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Process designers and ensure designs are completed on programme, within budget, and to the quality defined by each framework and industry specifications
- Work as part of a “Project triangle” alongside a Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure that technical, constructability and commercial aspects of project delivery are considered throughout.
- Build positive relationships with the client project, operational and technical assurance teams and promote a “one-team” approach.
- Support and mentor less experienced members of the team.
- Visit sites across your frameworks region as required to develop the design and support the construction delivery of your projects (costs incurred are recoverable).
