This position is central to both site management and technical support, involving value engineering to optimise project effectiveness. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in electrical engineering and experience in the water sector, specifically in managing site operations and offering technical guidance.
You will be working on clean water construction and upgrade projects across Kent and Sussex, for the AMP 7 program. Values ranging from £1m to £15m.

Key duties
- Lead site management for electrical projects within the water industry.
- Provide comprehensive technical support in electrical engineering.

Duties of the Assistant Site Manager will include
- Work across multiple projects or one large scheme on the delivery of MEICA and Civil Engineer services in water.
- Ensure that commissioning teams are kept up to date with project progress.
- Overseeing/reviewing RAMS
- Assist in ensuring a quality service is provided to the client.
- Being involved in technical planning and programming the projects.
- Ensure the project is running on time and budget.
- Ensure health & safety is adhered to.
- Be responsible for site inspections and progress reports.
Qualifications or experience
- IOSH, SMSTS or NEBOSH general certificate would be an advantage
- Microsoft Office literate
- Experience working in the water industry or similar chemical process-driven environment
